Hamilton is Program Director, Environmental Sustainability, in the
Engineering Directorate at NSF. He
joined NSF in 1997 as NSF’s first SBIR Biotechnology Program Manager. Starting in 2000, Bruce served for six
years as NSF Division Director for Bioengineering and Environmental
Systems. Before joining NSF, for 20
years he held engineering research management positions in the local
biotechnology and chemical industry.
Bruce received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in
Biochemical Engineering, both from MIT.
He has been a member of AIChE for over 30 years.
