----------------------------------------------------------- Irwin Gold graduated from the University
of Maryland in College Park in 1949 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. After years of diverse experience including
research & development and service as a comissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, Mr. Gold
joined the management of a modest-sized food company. During more than 30 years of innovative refrigerated food product
development, production, and marketing, Mr. Gold became the company's owner. Mr. Gold has been a professional member of AIChE
for more than 57 years. He also holds membership in the American Society of Baking, the Institute of Food Technology,
and the American Marketing Association.
